After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Everardo Erramun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pan Dulce's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Erramun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Rocendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Everardo Erramun came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Deportivo Pan Dulce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Erramun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Kiliz in the 12th minute of play forced Deportivo Pan Dulce's goalkeeper Lorenzo Danel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Otoniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Danel made a huge save. Manuel Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lorenzo Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Bernabe Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gregory blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Danel having to make a save. Marcelo Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Otoniel got free with Lorenzo Danel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Pan Dulce's Lorenzo Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Kiliz in the 43rd minute of play. Felipe Rocendo had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Everardo Erramun's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Benigno Kiliz made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Gorbea in the 51st minute of play. Everardo Erramun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Felipe Rocendo made a huge save. Deportivo Pan Dulce's Hipolito Hechter got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Pan Dulce booed when Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Pan Dulce getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Everardo Erramun hit a great ball. Generoso Elixio lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 82nd minute, one of Deportivo Pan Dulce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Pan Dulce. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Cipolletti. Rene Abella stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lorenzo Danel. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cipolletti's zone, Elias Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Rocendo came out of the goal and Elias Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Rocendo having to interfere. Felipe Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Emanuel Hermon sent off a good shot on target. Elias Gorbea struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Felipe Rocendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pan Dulce. Elias Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Felipe Rocendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Elias Gorbea in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
