Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leon Ireno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute Anselmo Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, ASCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Gaxan came free, but Leon Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Ireno having to interfere. At last the ball reached Bernardo Botello at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Versailles FC. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alfonso Lorien made the kick off in the second half. Nereo Grabiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Grabiel came out of the goal and Manuel Jusepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bernardo Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Bernardo Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASCO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Pedro Guillelmo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Grabiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Bernardo Botello came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the ASCO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Botello couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 102nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ASCO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ASCO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
