After a defensive mix-up in Versailles FC's zone, Jorge Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Grabiel came out of the goal and Jorge Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Tolino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Jorge Oton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nereo Grabiel. Jorge Oton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jorge Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Grabiel having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Tomas Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Jorge Oton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nereo Grabiel. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Gaxan made a kick off. Alberto Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jorge Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Olivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Oton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Grabiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Oton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nereo Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monte Olivia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
