Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Gaxan got the match started through his kick off. Eduardo Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Urti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Gowland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Urti to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th match minute, Versailles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Claus to maneuver through the defense. If Fidel Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Casimiro Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Versailles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Aimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gowland getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ariel Opilano hit a great ball. Anselmo Gaxan scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Etxeberri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gowland's Ariel Opilano got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Versailles FC's Anselmo Gaxan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Etxeberri was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gowland getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eduardo Urti hit a great ball. When Casimiro Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Versailles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Aimar couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Etxeberri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Txartiko came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nereo Grabiel could save by the left post. After 45 played minutes Versailles FC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Claus. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Restu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Beltza thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nereo Grabiel, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-3. Hermengildo Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Grabiel having to interfere. When Siro Oriol fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Versailles FC's protests and gave Siro Oriol a yellow card for diving instead. Siro Oriol kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Fabian Eguen led 61 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Versailles FC's Nereo Grabiel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-3. If Casimiro Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gaxan in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Siro Oriol took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Daniel Etxeberri to make any attempt to save it. Fidel Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Versailles FC's Nereo Grabiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Txartiko in the 83rd minute of play. Casimiro Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Etxeberri having to interfere. Nereo Grabiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Versailles FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
