Cipolletti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Versailles FC the free kick. Joaquin Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Versailles FC's Anselmo Gaxan got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Kiliz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nereo Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipolletti. Casimiro Aimar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Cipolletti's Felipe Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Aimar in the 57th minute of play. During the 61st minute of the match Niceto Claus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Niceto Claus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 61 played minutes Versailles FC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Claus. If Casimiro Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Benigno Kiliz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nereo Grabiel. The goal made the score 2-1. Nereo Grabiel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Otoniel went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Versailles FC's goalkeeper Nereo Grabiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Otoniel. Benigno Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nereo Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match Arnoldo Marko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Grabiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
