Blas Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Nahia having to interfere. Ulises Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ostargi in the 18th minute of play. Erubiel Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ulises Primo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Hector Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafferata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Caetano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Lehmann's Blas Erruki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Nahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Armando Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Siro Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafferata's Siro Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Erruki in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cafferata's zone, Armando Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Nahia came out of the goal and Armando Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Armando Ihintza came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Lehmann fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Ihintza couldn't finish the play. In the 47thth minute of the game Armando Ihintza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cafferata's Siro Nahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Ostargi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Hector Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Primo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Cafferata's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Betadur came free, but Siro Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Siro Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Erubiel Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafferata's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Ostargi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Primo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lehmann's Armando Ihintza got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Nahia made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Blas Erruki sent off a good shot on target. Erubiel Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Caetano in the 77th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Cesar Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Hector Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Primo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
