Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dante Abadia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Francisco Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Venerando having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Gerardo Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. JCC Cobos's Flavio Palos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Mannie got free with Natalio Venerando in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Gerardo Derwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Deportivo Hofmann's Gerardo Derwin in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. JCC Cobos's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Deportivo Hofmann's Hipolito Iyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Palos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gerardo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gerardo Derwin sped through C.A. JCC Cobos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavio Palos. Arturo Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Gerardo Derwin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Palos. C.A. JCC Cobos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Derwin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Flavio Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Derwin in the 32nd minute of the match. Vicente Tajo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A hard shot by Simon Segio from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Natalio Venerando's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Derwin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Palos saved C.A. JCC Cobos from getting behind. When Stasio Gollob came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Deportivo Hofmann fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Gollob couldn't finish the play. Stasio Gollob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Derwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gerardo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Jacinto Ignado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. JCC Cobos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Hofmann the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A. JCC Cobos's Jacinto Ignado got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Arturo Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th play minute Gerardo Derwin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Flavio Palos. 0-4. In the 69th minute, Hipolito Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Palos made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Arturo Fonso sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, C.A. JCC Cobos's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Derwin came free, but Flavio Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Hofmann getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Horacio Ermano hit a great ball. Simon Segio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natalio Venerando. Deportivo Hofmann's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Palos was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Francisco Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arturo Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Palos having to interfere. Deportivo Hofmann's Pankracy Hryc was substituted for Gerardo Derwin. JCC Cobos's zone, Hipolito Iyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Palos came out of the goal and Hipolito Iyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Pankracy Hryc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Hofmann's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
