Jacobo Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Gerardo Derwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Gudesteo came out of the goal and Gerardo Derwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Deportivo Hofmann's Gerardo Derwin in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Recreo booed when Deportivo Hofmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recreo's Vladimiro Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Derwin in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Recreo booed when Deportivo Hofmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasio Gollob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Fonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Recreo's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Gollob came free, but Vladimiro Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Gudesteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Derwin in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Gerardo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Hofmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Cayetano Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Gudesteo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arturo Fonso sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Quentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Stasio Gollob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Arturo Fonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayetano Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Venerando having to interfere. When Stasio Gollob came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Deportivo Hofmann fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Gollob couldn't finish the play. Horacio Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Gudesteo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Quentin got free with Natalio Venerando in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Gilberto Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Recreo's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Fonso came free, but Vladimiro Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Derwin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Hofmann's Gerardo Derwin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Deportivo Hofmann's Arturo Fonso got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Candido Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Gudesteo came out of the goal and Candido Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Deportivo Hofmann booed when Recreo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Atarratze in the 93rd minute of play. Pankracy Hryc's late challenge caught a Recreo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pankracy Hryc helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Recreo booed when Deportivo Hofmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Hryc didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo Hofmann's Stasio Gollob sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Gudesteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Hofmann fully deserved thier win.
