In the 11th minute of the match, Gerardo Derwin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isaac Tiniebra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hipolito Iyan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Iyan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Hofmann's Hipolito Iyan got a free kick in the 16th minute. Isaac Tiniebra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Derwin in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Fútbol Cangrejo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arturo Fonso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Laureano Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natalio Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Raitin in the 28th minute of the match. Deportivo Hofmann's Natalio Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Oskarbi in the 29th minute of play. Natalio Venerando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Deportivo Hofmann fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Deportivo Hofmann's Gerardo Derwin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute, one of Fútbol Cangrejo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fútbol Cangrejo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marco Raitin made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Gerardo Derwin made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fútbol Cangrejo's Isaac Tiniebra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iker Tonio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fútbol Cangrejo's Isaias Bermudo got a free kick in the 59th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Hofmann's Arturo Fonso tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Stasio Gollob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Deportivo Hofmann's Gerardo Derwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Tiniebra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Hipolito Iyan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Isaias Bermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Candido Honesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Hofmann's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fútbol Cangrejo the free kick. In the 77th minute, Candido Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Marco Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Gollob in the 83rd minute of play. Flavio Cebrian kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Deportivo Hofmann booed when Fútbol Cangrejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Pankracy Hryc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Candido Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Hofmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Honesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pankracy Hryc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Fonso in the 92nd minute of play forced Fútbol Cangrejo's goalkeeper Isaac Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Honesto in the 94th minute of play. Isaac Tiniebra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Fonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Pankracy Hryc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Tiniebra having to interfere. Deportivo Hofmann's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
