Santo Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Leocadio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pueblo's Gilberto Valerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Lain in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, delsco's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Henrico came free, but Santiago Leocadio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Leocadio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Cresitobalo in the 24th minute of play. Santiago Leocadio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Cresitobalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Santo Millan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the delsco fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Henrico in the 59th minute of play forced delsco's goalkeeper Santiago Leocadio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Lain in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Valerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pueblo defense, German Lain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Valerio. The Pueblo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Valerio should have stopped the shot.
