Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Recreo's Vladimiro Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Abadia in the 3rd minute of play. Flavio Palos made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cayetano Quentin sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 17 minutes, Francisco Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. JCC Cobos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Gudesteo having to interfere. Lino Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Palos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. JCC Cobos's zone, Lino Selmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Palos came out of the goal and Lino Selmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cayetano Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Mannie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Francisco Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. JCC Cobos's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Quentin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Flavio Palos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreo. Lino Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Palos having to interfere. Dante Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Vladimiro Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Selmo was the one to do the kick off. Gilberto Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Edgardo Florian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Recreo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. JCC Cobos the free kick. In the 75th minute, one of Recreo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Recreo. Vladimiro Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Lino Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Recreo's Fausto Atarratze got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cayetano Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Palos having to interfere. Flavio Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Selmo in the 97th minute of the match.
