Cayetano Quentin started the match with the kick off. Cesar Onbera's late challenge caught a Recreo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Onbera helped the player get up and apologised. Cesar Onbera kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Fausto Atarratze hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tomas Isadore's late challenge caught a Recreo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Isadore helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gimnasio Gym JM's Tomas Isadore got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jimeno Bakar took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Asur. Severo Asur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Cayetano Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesar Onbera got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 28th minute, Cesar Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Recreo got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Batista. Jairo Oroitz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gilberto Mingo, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Gimnasio Gym JM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Oroitz to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Recreo's Jimeno Bakar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Asur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Fausto Atarratze fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recreo's protests and gave Fausto Atarratze a yellow card for diving instead. Gimnasio Gym JM were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Recreo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cleto Abeijon took the corner. Edgardo Florian tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Vladimiro Gudesteo. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 56th minute. Gimnasio Gym JM's Severo Asur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Gimnasio Gym JM from getting a goal against them. If Cayetano Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jimeno Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Gimnasio Gym JM got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Isadore. Jimeno Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Asur having to interfere. Lorenzo Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vladimiro Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lorenzo Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
