Spectators: 7055 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 10) Geronimo Chesus made the kick off and thus started the match. Alfonso Delfino charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Delfino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Peli made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Oscar Caitano sent off a good shot on target. Aureliano Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Erdiano in the 13th minute of the match. When Oscar Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the academia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Caitano couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Ceandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidro Erdiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Pudes having to make a save. Aureliano Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Ceandro in the 27th minute of the match. Wilfredo Ceandro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Pudes having to make a save. Wilfredo Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Perutxo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Erdiano was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Lugo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes academia got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Lugo. If Isidro Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Ceandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Oscar Caitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eliseo Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Chesus scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Peli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseo Peli came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by academia's Geronimo Chesus. But to his dismay, Geronimo Chesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Oscar Caitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eliseo Peli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Isidro Erdiano rounded academia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Wilfredo Ceandros short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Aureliano Pudes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Wilfredo Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
