Spectators: 7099 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeledon Fernanco got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Gerardo Etxatxu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ROMAN-TICOS's Ambrosio Dominix. Ambrosio Dominix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ambrosio Dominix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PabloFC's zone, Isidro Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Ondino came out of the goal and Isidro Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Norberto Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Etxatxu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. If Isidro Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute of the match Norberto Primeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ambrosio Dominix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerardo Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Dominix having to interfere. If Zeledon Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Isidro Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Jerrald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiburcio Ondino came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidro Jerrald slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 63rd minute. If Isidro Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind PabloFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Ondino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Ondino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Jerrald's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. PabloFC's Tiburcio Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Jerrald in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Soter got free with Tiburcio Ondino in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro Llin charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Llin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Teodoro Llin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ruben Criston in the 96th minute really tested Tiburcio Ondino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. ROMAN-TICOS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
