In the 10th match minute, PabloFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Romo to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Llin charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Llin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PabloFC's Teodoro Llin got a free kick in the 11th minute. After recieving a nice pass, gimnasia y esgrima LP's Ruperto Cuarto tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zeledon Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes gimnasia y esgrima LP got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Jorrin. In the 23rdth minute of the game Zeledon Fernanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but gimnasia y esgrima LP's Marcelino Tavio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerardo Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, PabloFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Emmanuel came free, but Tiburcio Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Tavio having to interfere. Gogo Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gerardo Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the PabloFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Gogo Steven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Gogo Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes gimnasia y esgrima LP got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Steven.

In the 53rd minute, Filiberto Ugaitz made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Ondino. PabloFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tiburcio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, PabloFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Quintin to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, PabloFC's Gerardo Etxatxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Tavio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. gimnasia y esgrima LP's Marcelino Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Etxatxu in the 71st minute of play. Leopoldo Jorrin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Filiberto Ugaitz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes, PabloFC's Victorio Neto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelino Tavio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PabloFC reached it. Zeledon Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Tavio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Etxatxu in the 86th minute of play forced gimnasia y esgrima LP's goalkeeper Marcelino Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Marcelino Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PabloFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing gimnasia y esgrima LP to leave the ground with a draw.
