To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Gilesindo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Enrique Gilesindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, C.A. Martin Guemes's goalkeeper Marciano Leizarraga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Mincho. Baltasar Elivareo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Arnaldo Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Martin Guemes. After 57 played minutes, Castellino Futbol Club's Agustin Gil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Leizarraga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castellino Futbol Club reached it. When Modesto Jobo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Martin Guemes's protests and gave Modesto Jobo a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. Martin Guemes! Tomás Mincho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Leizarraga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Edelmiro Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Baltasar Elivareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
