The tension between the academia and the C.A. Martin Guemes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes academia got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Chesus. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Martin Guemes's Baltasar Elivareo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aureliano Pudes. That made the score 1-1 after 12 minutes of play. Oscar Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Leizarraga having to interfere. Geronimo Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marciano Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Perutxo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, academia's Christian Perutxo got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, academia's goalkeeper Aureliano Pudes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Elivareo. 29 minutes into the game, Anacleto Francho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Martin Guemes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave academia the free kick. Geronimo Chesus got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marciano Leizarraga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Ricardo Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Perutxo was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 36 played minutes academia got a freekick which was hit by Christian Perutxo. Aureliano Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Sengrat in the 37th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Oscar Caitano in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 41st match minute, C.A. Martin Guemes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Francho to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, C.A. Martin Guemes's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Caitano came free, but Marciano Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Diagur hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Caitano was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ladislao Regis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. academia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Martin Guemes the free kick. In the 55th match minute, academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Regis to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Sengrat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of C.A. Martin Guemes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of academia:s goal. Oscar Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Elivareo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Pudes. Aureliano Pudes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 72nd minute Ricardo Sengrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Pudes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Pudes having to interfere. C.A. Martin Guemes's Ricardo Sengrat got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aureliano Pudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Baltasar Elivareo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but academia's Aureliano Pudes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, academia's Ladislao Regis got a free kick in the 88th minute. C.A. Martin Guemes's Modesto Jobo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for academia. A collision led to academia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Geronimo Chesus hit a great ball. Ricardo Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. Martin Guemes fully deserved thier win.
