Benjamin Sugoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 played minutes Los buitres got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Jacob. In the 10th minute, Benjamin Sugoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Nahia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arnaldo Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Los buitres booed when Taringa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Silvio Rumaldo managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Los buitres's Arnaldo Bernard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 21 minutes, Domingos Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taringa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnaldo Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taringa FC's Benjamin Sugoi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvio Rumaldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adrian Oinatz. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Taringa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los buitres:s goal. Silvio Rumaldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teobaldo Raebert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Benjamin Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Guillermo Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Sugoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Domingos Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Nahia. Los buitres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Arnaldo Bernard put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Silvio Rumaldo. Domingos Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Rumaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Raebert in the 75th minute of the match. Teobaldo Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match Alejandro Favila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Rumaldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnaldo Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Rumaldo having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Bartolo Txerran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taringa FC and the Los buitres players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los buitres booed when Taringa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Rumaldo having to interfere. A collision led to Taringa FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcos Bidari hit a great ball. In the 99thth minute of the game Arnaldo Bernard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taringa FC's Silvio Rumaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los buitres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taringa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
