Spectators: 7344 (Terracing: 5510, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) ROMAN-TICOS's Isidro Jerrald started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Zeledon Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the PabloFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Fernanco couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Etxatxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambrosio Dominix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Etxatxu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambrosio Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Fernanco in the 7th minute of play. Ambrosio Dominix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Fernanco in the 8th minute of the match. Zeledon Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PabloFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isidro Jerrald 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Ambrosio Dominix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Romo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. ROMAN-TICOS's Ruben Criston couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PabloFC. Erubiel Soter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Ondino having to make a save. When ROMAN-TICOS's Isidro Jerrald in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PabloFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Erubiel Soter came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ROMAN-TICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Soter couldn't finish the play. PabloFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isidro Jerrald 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 35th minute Isidro Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Tiburcio Ondino managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when ROMAN-TICOS's Erubiel Soter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tiburcio Ondino made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Erubiel Soter sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Ondino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Jerrald's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Zeledon Fernanco hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ambrosio Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 62nd minute, Isidro Jerrald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes ROMAN-TICOS got a freekick which was hit by Roque Nicholas. In the 76th minute, Nemesio Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Soter in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Ondino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Isidro Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Dominix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Fernanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. ROMAN-TICOS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
