After 5 played minutes Deportivo Liniers got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Chago. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Liniers's zone, Maximino Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Jayvier came out of the goal and Maximino Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Paul in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Corderro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Victor Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Corderro. Hucal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Paul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Hucal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Paul came free, but Nemesio Corderro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victor Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Guib in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Corderro saved Hucal FC from getting behind. Nemesio Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Deportivo Liniers's goalkeeper Justo Jayvier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Steven. Jesus Guib blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Corderro having to make a save. Jesus Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Paul in the 30th minute of play. Nemesio Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Hucal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Quintyn to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Simon Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Hucal FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Chaime. When Nicanor Marino fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hucal FC's protests and gave Nicanor Marino a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hucal FC! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Liniers. Mauro Rubio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nemesio Corderro. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Paul in the 46th minute of play forced Hucal FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Corderro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Quintyn in the 48th minute of the match. The Hucal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Liniers were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Quintyn made a kick off. Victor Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nemesio Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Corderro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Guib in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Godfredo Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Godfredo Steven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Vasco's late challenge caught a Hucal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Liniers getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vicente Vasco hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Deportivo Liniers's Jesus Guib sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Corderro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Maximino Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hucal FC's Godfredo Steven got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Liniers's goalkeeper Justo Jayvier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Maximino Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hucal FC's Nemesio Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Paul in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Liniers booed when Hucal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Liniers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
