The supporters of Club Atletico Palo Alto booed when Pingo en Lata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Palo Alto were furious when Honorato Ibon was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 16th minute, one of Club Atletico Palo Alto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atletico Palo Alto. The Pingo en Lata fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Pingo en Lata's Eliseo Bernaldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeremias Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Jošt in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Telesforo saved Club Atletico Palo Alto from getting behind. Pingo en Lata's Alberto Cordareo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evaristo Tanio, made in the 30th minute of the game. Amador Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Bernaldo in the 35th minute of play. Roman Jošt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jeremias Martxot fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Palo Alto's protests and gave Jeremias Martxot a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Palo Alto's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Jošt came free, but Amador Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Amador Telesforo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Roberto Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pingo en Lata made a substitution. Marco Botello replaced Roman Jošt. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Marco Botello made the kick off in the second half. Club Atletico Palo Alto's Amador Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Palo Alto from getting a goal against them. The Pingo en Lata fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Pingo en Lata's Marco Botello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 62 in the game by Marco Botello from a close distance when the talented Amador Telesforo managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Palo Alto's players were relieved. Amador Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Bernaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Palo Alto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Eliseo Bernaldo scored to the left of an out of position Amador Telesforo, making the score, 1-4. 69 minutes into the game, Pingo en Lata's Marco Botello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Telesforo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 72 minutes into the game, Eliseo Bernaldo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amador Telesforo. Eliseo Bernaldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Marco Botellos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Amador Telesforo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gervasio Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the last second Amador Telesforo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eliseo Bernaldo in the 97thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pingo en Lata's Aldo Ledesma suffered a sore thigh after 99 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Roberto Bonadona's late challenge caught a Pingo en Lata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Bonadona helped the player get up and apologised. Pingo en Lata's Tobias Duarte was substituted for Aldo Ledesma. In the 100th minute, Roberto Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 101 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Palo Alto's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Bernaldo came free, but Amador Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Pingo en Lata left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atletico Palo Alto.
