Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Everardo Sagrario kicked off to start the match. Gilberto Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Cordarrel in the 6th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Amado Cordarrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaypón AFC and the CASTELAR FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CASTELAR FC booed when Gaypón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Diegotxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gilberto Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Everardo Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaypón AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Sagrario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Leizarraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carolo Cordarrel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Vito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Cordarrel ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Gaypón AFC booed when CASTELAR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Gaypón AFC's Everardo Sagrario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Leizarraga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Everardo Sagrario came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gaypón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Sagrario couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Gaypón AFC's Ariel Orain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ildefonso Etxatxu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Everardo Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Bordat got free with Alejandro Leizarraga in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Peruanton to make the kick off. Gilberto Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Peruanton in the 52nd minute of the match. Alejandro Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Bordat in the 54th minute of play. Everardo Sagrario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Leizarraga having to make a save. Anacleto Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Leizarraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Gaypón AFC's Everardo Sagrario in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CASTELAR FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Bordat in the 66th minute of play forced CASTELAR FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Generoso Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gaypón AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Amado Cordarrell hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Cordarrel got free with Gilberto Vito in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Gaypón AFC's Anacleto Bordat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Leizarraga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CASTELAR FC's Rene Diegotxe got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gaypón AFC's Ariel Orain couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CASTELAR FC.
