Paulino Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 minutes of play, CASTELAR FC's Carolo Cordarrel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Lekubegi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rene Diegotxe came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Blas Lekubegi could save by the left post. Alejandro Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Genaro Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CASTELAR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Peruanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Caras de Nutria F.C.'s Cleto Ireno got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Genaro Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caras de Nutria F.C.'s Blas Lekubegi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Caras de Nutria F.C. from getting a goal against them. When Ermegildo Osoitz fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caras de Nutria F.C.'s protests and gave Ermegildo Osoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Ermegildo Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Genaro Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carolo Cordarrel took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Lekubegi. Blas Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The wind increased when Genaro Peruanton made the kick off in the second half. Genaro Peruanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Lekubegi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Blas Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Peruanton in the 54th minute of play. Cristobal Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the CASTELAR FC defense, Paulino Selatse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Leizarraga. The CASTELAR FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Leizarraga should have stopped the shot. Clodoveo Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Iraunkor during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caras de Nutria F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 68th match minute, CASTELAR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Asier to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Caras de Nutria F.C.'s Cleto Ireno tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, CASTELAR FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Leizarraga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Selatse. Alejandro Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Caras de Nutria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Diegotxe came free, but Blas Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Lekubegi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Rene Diegotxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Blas Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Caras de Nutria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Peruanton came free, but Blas Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caras de Nutria F.C.'s Paulino Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Rene Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CASTELAR FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
