After a rather tough play, El Fortin's Truylos Huerta got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Iyan during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, El Fortin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Iyan to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 96 minutes of play, 5ndon.FC's Paulino Orixe made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Vasconcelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 5ndon.FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Fortin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
