Topeño III's Godofredo Nastasio got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Godofredo Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes of play, Topeño III's Godofredo Nastasio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Ekain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Morais charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Morais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Morais hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Godofredo Nastasio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Ekain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Nastasio ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Topeño III's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Morais came free, but Marcelino Maidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Faro in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ASCONETA F.C.'s Serafino Handi got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Anselmo Beti fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Topeño III's protests and gave Anselmo Beti a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Topeño III got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Beti. After a defensive mix-up in Topeño III's zone, Arturo Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Maidana came out of the goal and Arturo Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Faro in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Arturo Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Nastasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Maidana made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Arturo Faro sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Arturo Faro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelino Maidana. Godofredo Nastasio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Antonio Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Topeño III's Marcelino Maidana got control of the ball when Miguel Fonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arturo Faro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Maidana having to make a save. When ASCONETA F.C.'s Arturo Faro in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jeronimo Ekain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topeño III. Godofredo Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Ekain having to interfere. Godofredo Nastasio might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Ekain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Nastasio ran back to his position shaking his head. Godofredo Nastasio struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jeronimo Ekain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topeño III. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
