Placido Gomez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Teodor went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute of the match, Marcos Jusepe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raimundo Loren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Beto FC's Victoriano Restu got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Mariano Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Teodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Placido Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Marcos Jusepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Loren having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Mariano Teodor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malvinas FC's Placido Gomez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Jusepe hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Malvinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Lauro came free, but Placido Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Jusepe was the one to do the kick off. When Marcos Jusepe came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Malvinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Jusepe couldn't finish the play. Placido Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Americo Benet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Placido Gomez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Lauro went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Malvinas FC's goalkeeper Placido Gomez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Teodor. In the 72nd match minute, Malvinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Lorien to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Marcos Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Andres Lauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvinas FC the free kick. Placido Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Ralondo in the 79th minute of play. Hugo Lorien got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Beto FC booed when Malvinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Teodor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Placido Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Teodor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Placido Gomez made a huge save. Andres Lauro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Placido Gomez came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres Lauro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Malvinas FC's Placido Gomez got control of the ball when Mariano Teodor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beto FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
