Malvinas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuervo de Almagrosa FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Ranolfo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Placido Gomez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervo de Almagrosa FC's zone, Teodosio Rubio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Raymon came out of the goal and Teodosio Rubio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Malvinas FC's Placido Gomez got control of the ball when Gregorio Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Figueroa had several of the Malvinas FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Placido Gomez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tadeo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Jusepe in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cuervo de Almagrosa FC's Saverio Birjaio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Marcos Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Raymon having to interfere. If Teodosio Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, Malvinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. When Hugo Lorien fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malvinas FC's protests and gave Hugo Lorien a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Malvinas FC's Hugo Lorien got a free kick in the 46th minute. The long shot by Lisandro Goren in the 47th minute really tested Placido Gomez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Jusepe was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Malvinas FC's Marcos Jusepe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tadeo Raymon. Tadeo Raymon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 58th minute, Nicolas Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Cuervo de Almagrosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Vela. After having played for 63 minutes, Haroldo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervo de Almagrosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Placido Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Frantzes's late challenge caught a Cuervo de Almagrosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Malvinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Frantzes to maneuver through the defense.
