A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Geronimo Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angostura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Euskadi FC the free kick. After 18 played minutes Angostura FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Bermudez. Virgilio Domingues succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Luis Blasco put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Euskadi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Angostura FC:s goal. Oscar Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Refugio having to interfere. When Marco Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Euskadi FC's protests and gave Marco Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Refugio having to interfere. Teofilo Oihan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Oscar Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Euskadi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Beltran came free, but Israel Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Constantino Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oscar Cordarryl struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Israel Refugio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angostura FC. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Beltran in the 73rd minute of play forced Euskadi FC's goalkeeper Israel Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Virgilio Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Cordarryl struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
