Rodrigo Hunfredo started the match with the kick off. Godfredo Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Hartz in the 9th minute of the match. Fausto Nardo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Raul Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Amadeo Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Quintyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Hustaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Hartz in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Hustaz saved Anasagasti FC from getting behind. After 21 minutes, Amadeo Quintyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avellaneda F.C. and the Anasagasti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Anasagasti FC booed when Avellaneda F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Hustaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Quintyn went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paulo Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Quinito charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Quinito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Avellaneda F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Quinito. In the 38th minute, Fernando Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raul Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Hartz to make the kick off. Paulo Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Hunfredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Hunfredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Gaufred, 2-1. Florencio Harri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play Avellaneda F.C.'s Fernando Quintun was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda F.C.'s Fernando Quintun got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Florencio Harri came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Anasagasti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Harri couldn't finish the play. Raul Hartz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mauricio Mon made a great header on Anasagasti FC's corner, it was just that Avellaneda F.C.'s Paulo Gaufred managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Gaufred made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Harri in the 81st minute.
