After 9 played minutes Pirané got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Enmanuel. After 12 played minutes Ringuelet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Aznaro. If Ramon Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Primeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Joseph in the 24th minute of play. The corner ended in Lino Phelipe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ringuelet AFC's Amado Primeiro did a great save. Jacobo Totakoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Procopio in the 34th minute of the match. Ramon Baristo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Primeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Marcelo Goizeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ariel Procopio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ringuelet AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Procopio couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ramon Baristo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Baristo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ringuelet AFC booed when Pirané was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luciano Pitin fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ringuelet AFC's protests and gave Luciano Pitin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ringuelet AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luciano Pitin hit a great ball. Ringuelet AFC's Amado Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Joseph in the 60th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Ringuelet AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Pitin to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirané's goalkeeper Jacobo Totakoxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Joseph in the 83rd minute of play forced Ringuelet AFC's goalkeeper Amado Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ringuelet AFC's zone, Ramon Baristo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Primeiro came out of the goal and Ramon Baristo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Primeiro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ramon Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirané's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Primeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ringuelet AFC's Amado Primeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Joseph in the 94th minute of play. The Ringuelet AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ringuelet AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
