The HURACAN CBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Defensores de Colon E.R booed when HURACAN CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Quin to make the kick off. Defensores de Colon E.R's Ezequiel Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Quin in the 62nd minute of play. Cleto Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Micael having to interfere. Ezequiel Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ezequiel Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Quin in the 69th minute of play. Cleto Huly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
