The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DIEGO ARMANDO were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Cachorros F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norberto Sustrai took the corner. Ciro Matthew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Paulino Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Israel Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ciro Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DIEGO ARMANDO's David Llorian got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachorros F.C.'s goalkeeper Pablo Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Aaron Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jimeno Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Roldanillo couldn't finish the play. Everardo Sindos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Ciro Matthew to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ciro Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Roldanillo in the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Gavino Leguizamón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pablo Gonsalvo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Marko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Etxekopar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pablo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Marko in the 54th minute of the match. If Gavino Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Israel Roldanillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Cachorros F.C.'s Israel Roldanillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Matthew narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes, Cachorros F.C.'s Raul Eyague shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciro Matthew came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachorros F.C. reached it. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute, Julio Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Nel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciro Matthew. DIEGO ARMANDO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Israel Roldanillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIEGO ARMANDO's goalkeeper Ciro Matthew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cachorros F.C. had played much better football throughout.
