The supporters of Boedo Fc booed when Saujil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Tximitx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Teobaldo Raebert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Baumar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute of the match Carlos Chorche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Baumar skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Lordi was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Tximitx helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 86 minutes, Teobaldo Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saujil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melchor Ruisko's late challenge caught a Boedo Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Ruisko helped the player get up and apologised. When Emiliano Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boedo Fc's protests and gave Emiliano Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. Emiliano Abarca hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
