Desiderio Maties scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 严荣康, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 played minutes Ira Dei got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Bladi. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Galsino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 严荣康 was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. VILLALONGA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Montrelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Ira Dei booed when VILLALONGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Lobo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lisandro Montrelle sent off a good shot on target. After 48 minutes VILLALONGA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lisandro Montrelle who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Cirilo Bladi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VILLALONGA's Leonel Lobo did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Desiderio Maties made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Monte in the 67th minute of play forced Ira Dei's goalkeeper 严荣康 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Montrelle in the 71st minute of play forced VILLALONGA's goalkeeper Leonel Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Lobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Montrelle went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Lisandro Montrelle ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in VILLALONGA's zone, Lisandro Montrelle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Lobo came out of the goal and Lisandro Montrelle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Lisandro Montrelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Leonel Lobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of VILLALONGA booed when Ira Dei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Filomeno Galsino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VILLALONGA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. There was no doubt that Ira Dei were the better team. Ira Dei's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
