Ruperto Marcones was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cachorros F.C.'s Aaron Porfirio got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Sindo got free with Ruperto Marcones in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Roldanillo in the 31st minute of play forced Saujil's goalkeeper Ruperto Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Saujil's goalkeeper Ruperto Marcones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Sindo. Saujil's Ruperto Marcones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Saujil from getting a goal against them. After recieving a nice pass, Saujil's Simon Columbo tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Roldanillo made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Cachorros F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saujil:s goal. Simon Columbo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Roldanillo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Marcones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cachorros F.C. booed when Saujil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Roldanillo in the 59th minute of play forced Saujil's goalkeeper Ruperto Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Serafin Artizar fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saujil's protests and gave Serafin Artizar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Serafin Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Cachorros F.C.'s Raul Eyague broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Everardo Sindo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saujil's Ruperto Marcones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Marcones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Sindo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Ruperto Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Roldanillo in the 72nd minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Marcones showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cachorros F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
