If Teobaldo Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 8 minutes, Teobaldo Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saujil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Baumar having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Manuel Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saujil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Chayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Uriel Lordi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Boedo Fc booed when Saujil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Tximitx didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Uriel Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruperto Marcones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Tabb in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Saujil's Alejandro Tximitx got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ruperto Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Teobaldo Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boedo Fc's Uriel Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Lordi in the 32nd minute of play forced Saujil's goalkeeper Ruperto Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boedo Fc's Rafael Baumar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Raebert in the 36th minute of play. If Teobaldo Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Raebert was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Boedo Fc's Uriel Lordi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Marcones was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 58 played minutes Saujil got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Tximitx. In the 59th minute Uriel Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Uriel Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Marcones was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Boedo Fc's Uriel Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Columbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Baumar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Manuel Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match, Manuel Chayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Baumar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Saujil booed when Boedo Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Baumar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Chayo in the 85th minute. After 89 minutes, Simon Columbo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saujil and the Boedo Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. 89 minutes into the game, one of Saujil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 91 minutes into the game, Remigio Xabel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ruperto Marcones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Boedo Fc's Alfredo Tabb got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Remigio Xabel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruperto Marcones skillfully saved the ball. Teobaldo Raebert's late challenge caught a Boedo Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Raebert helped the player get up and apologised. Teobaldo Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saujil's zone, Uriel Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Marcones came out of the goal and Uriel Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Boedo Fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Saujil for much of the match.
