Everardo Sindo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Eriberto Izotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Gonsalvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Cachorros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Frisco came free, but Pablo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Izotz in the 13th minute of the match. Epifanio Olo was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Pablo Breogan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pablo Breogan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Clodoveo Frisco took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Gonsalvo. Pablo Gonsalvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Pablo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cachorros F.C.'s Israel Roldanillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Olo. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. In the 34th minute, Cachorros F.C.'s Israel Roldanillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Olo. Epifanio Olo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Eyague during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Cachorros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raul Eyague. Gavino Fliz made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Florentino Peyo. Eriberto Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Gonsalvo having to interfere. Pablo Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Roldanillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eriberto Izotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verónica FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Delmiro Torres hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Cachorros F.C.. Raul Eyague stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Epifanio Olo. 4-2. Alonzo Nel charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Nel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Alonzo Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verónica FC's Pablo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Izotz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Everardo Sindo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cachorros F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 73 minutes into the game, Benedicto Etxekopar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachorros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verónica FC the free kick. Epifanio Olo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Roldanillo in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Sindo in the 78th minute of play forced Verónica FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verónica FC's Casimiro Domenec got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Casimiro Domenec notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Cachorros F.C.'s Pablo Gonsalvo. Pablo Gonsalvo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eriberto Izotz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Verónica FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Epifanio Olo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Peyo in the 97th minute of the match. Many of Verónica FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Verónica FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cachorros F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
