Verónica FC's Epifanio Olo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Montrelle in the 4th minute of play. Eriberto Izotz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Eriberto Izotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 严荣康 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Frisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jorge Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Lisandro Montrelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verónica FC's Epifanio Olo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Verónica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Silviano to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Bladi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Ira Dei got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Bladi. Epifanio Olo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Olo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Montrelle in the 43rd minute of the match. Delmiro Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Silvio Belarmo's shot from long distance in the 46th minute was not bad at all, but Verónica FC's Epifanio Olo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of Ira Dei booed when Verónica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Silviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Eriberto Izotz made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Adolfo Blasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verónica FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ira Dei the free kick. After 54 played minutes Verónica FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Blasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Montrelle in the 58th minute of play forced Verónica FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Montrelle scored 2-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Olo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Eriberto Izotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Montrelle in the 70th minute of play forced Verónica FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Verónica FC's Pastor Valiente seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pastor Valiente the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Verónica FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pastor Valiente had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Verónica FC:s Epifanio Olo showed great skill when he stopped Lisandro Montrelle:s penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cirilo Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ira Dei's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Olo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ira Dei's goalkeeper 严荣康, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Lisandro Montrelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Ira Dei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Araoz to maneuver through the defense. If Jorge Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Montrelle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Olo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Verónica FC defense, Lisandro Montrelle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Olo. The Verónica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Olo should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ira Dei fans cheered their team off the field, for while Verónica FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
