Narciso Romildo had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Humberto Emmanuel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Agustin Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuchame Posho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Bide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quilmes's Sixto Urtun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Abilio in the 23rd minute of play. Agustin Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Urtun having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Abilio came free, but Sixto Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Bide in the 32nd minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Sixto Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Augusto Fernandes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Agustin Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quilmes's Osvaldo Cloyo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pastor Pietro fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuchame Posho's protests and gave Pastor Pietro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quilmes booed when Cuchame Posho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes, Osvaldo Cloyo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cuchame Posho's Narciso Romildo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Musko in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Osvaldo Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, one of Quilmes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quilmes. When Cuchame Posho's Agustin Bide in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
