Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Fausto Natanael came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ayajaso's Filiberto Emenon. But to his dismay, Filiberto Emenon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Martin Onofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Genaro Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Martin Onofre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Genaro Goiz. The goal made the score 1-1. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Martin Onofre took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Genaro Goiz to make any attempt to save it. After 21 played minutes Ayajaso got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Naldo. Fausto Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Ermano in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Severino Ermano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fausto Natanael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Silvestre Dayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo El Cid's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Mantzio came free, but Fausto Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martin Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fausto Natanael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The Deportivo El Cid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. Deportivo El Cid's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
