After having played for 33 minutes, Nunez Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuchame Posho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Abilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nunez Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Franco having to interfere. Agustin Bide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marcos Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Jose Artal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Franco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Agustin Bide did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Marcos Franco 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Honorio Cai was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Agustin Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sauzal AFC's goalkeeper Marcos Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narciso Romildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Cai in the 68th minute of play. Marcos Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Abilio in the 71st minute of the match. Nunez Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Honorio Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
