Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blas Diagur started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball's Maximiliano Thomas got control of the ball when Martin Gorosti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Maximiliano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Marcelino Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Thomas having to interfere. Blas Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vizards's zone, Arturo Koldobika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Erramu came out of the goal and Arturo Koldobika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Arturo Koldobika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Aurelio Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Diagur in the 39th minute of play. Arturo Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Blas Diagur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Diagur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Erramu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Diagur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Olayo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Vizards players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball's Maximiliano Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Gorosti in the 52nd minute of play. Blas Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball's Blas Diagur got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball's Maximiliano Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Fernandez in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Fernandez in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Thomas saved Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball from getting behind. Martin Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Maximiliano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Diagur in the 72nd minute of play forced Vizards's goalkeeper Jonathan Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Erramu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Diagur in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vizards defense, Guaberto Perfecto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Erramu. The Vizards fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Erramu should have stopped the shot. If Guaberto Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Maximiliano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Blas Diagur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Erramu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Arturo Koldobika hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Paulo Acevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximiliano Thomas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 95 minutes into the match, Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Fernandez came free, but Maximiliano Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Guaberto Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Zeiss Jena Fußball played a much better game than Vizards and deserved their victory. The Vizards players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
