The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 14 minutes of play, diablosmdq's Fabian Belasko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Luzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fabian Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteve Etxatxu took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Orlo. Pablo Orlo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FENIX! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Naldo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Orlo saved diablosmdq from getting behind. Esteve Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benedicto Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Luzea having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Belasko in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Luzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, FENIX's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacobo Afonso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the diablosmdq defense, Silvano Naldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Orlo. The diablosmdq fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Orlo should have stopped the shot. If Esteve Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Maldonado charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Maldonado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of diablosmdq booed when FENIX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, diablosmdq's Isaac Txerran got a free kick in the 76th minute. Pablo Orlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Naldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, FENIX's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Belasko came free, but Benedicto Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, FENIX's Silvano Naldo made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Orlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Saul Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, FENIX's Ildefonso Dubardo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
