The referee ignored FENIX's protests and gave Ildefonso Dubardo a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Grabiel shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 21st minute Mario Etxepare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Luzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Conrado Emenon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Benedicto Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Rey in the 42nd minute of play. Conrado Emenon was a little too slow when Silvano Naldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Rey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FENIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Aragones to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes, Emilio Viator mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Majadita AFC and the FENIX players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteve Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Majadita AFC's Conrado Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Naldo in the 63rd minute of play.
