After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Faustino Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huracan Malbec's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Restu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Emenon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Majadita AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eriberto Rey hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Oscar Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huracan Malbec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Baraquiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Rey to strike the kick off in the second half. Huracan Malbec's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
