The referee ignored Huracan Malbec's protests and gave Faustino Restu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Huracan Malbec's Faustino Restu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Faustino Restu struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Dalmacio Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracan Malbec. In the 16th minute, Oscar Baraquiel made a precise shot to the right of Dalmacio Playo. Italbate AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Oscar Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Playo. Italbate AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Huracan Malbec's Inocencio Valentine got a free kick in the 26th minute. Florencio Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Octavio Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Italbate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Xabier. If Oscar Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Faustino Restu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Huracan Malbec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Restu couldn't finish the play. When Huracan Malbec's Faustino Restu in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute, Marcelino Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huracan Malbec's Octavio Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Bingen in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Restu made a kick off. Mauricio Manex recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Italbate AFC's Florencio Cortez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Ponciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvio Pelagius hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Mauricio Manex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Oscar Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italbate AFC's Dalmacio Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Baraquiel in the 74th minute of play. Mauricio Manex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huracan Malbec's Octavio Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Cortez in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Israel Berbiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. Dalmacio Playo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 91 minutes, Faustino Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huracan Malbec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Restu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmacio Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Baraquiel in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huracan Malbec had won after a very even match.
