The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustavo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Uzuri having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Anibal Gorosti made a precise shot to the right of Eleuterio Montrelle. Huracán FC Espora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gustavo Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gustavo Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Vander United's Ubaldo Justin got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Vander United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vander United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Guillermo Urdaspal hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Gustavo Bernaldo lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Gustavo Uzuri. Anibal Gorosti hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Gustavo Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gustavo Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Fe made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Baltasar Peru however managed to control.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Gorosti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vander United's zone, Lorenzo Cesario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Uzuri came out of the goal and Lorenzo Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Huracán FC Espora's Gustavo Bernaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Uzuri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Gavino Tolino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huracán FC Espora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vander United the free kick. After 63 played minutes Huracán FC Espora got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Tolino. In the 69thth minute of the game Gustavo Bernaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vander United's Gustavo Uzuri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Uzuri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Gustavo Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Bernaldo in the 73rd minute of the match. Lorenzo Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Gustavo Bernaldo made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vander United's Gustavo Uzuri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Bernaldo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Uzuri saved Vander United from getting behind. Lorenzo Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Uzuri having to interfere. Gustavo Uzuri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Gavino Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Bernaldo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Uzuri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Huracán FC Espora fully deserved thier win.
