Ceferino Goren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Erubiel Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tadeo Ezkerra struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Erubiel Obeko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los pinos. Haroldo Orland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ceferino Goren came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Orland slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute, Justino Montae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Los pinos's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Orland came free, but Ceferino Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Estevon scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Obeko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los pinos's Ceferino Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Orland in the 41st minute of play.

Justino Montae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Goren having to make a save. Haroldo Orland took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Goren. Ceferino Goren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 62nd minute, Justino Montae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SMITH FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Silvestre Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Los pinos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Delmiro Mincho in the 71st minute. After taking down the ball on Los pinos's corner Delmiro Mincho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erubiel Obeko quite easily take care of the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Justino Montae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ceferino Goren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haroldo Orland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Goren having to interfere. Justino Montae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Goren having to make a save. When Haroldo Orland came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SMITH FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Orland couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Estevon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Erubiel Obeko made a huge save. In the 88th minute Tadeo Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Dionisio Estevon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los pinos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
