Goles son Amores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Balompié 1889 the free kick. After 15 played minutes Goles son Amores got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Txomin. Nicolas Ledesma came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Goles son Amores's Teo Garikoitz. But to his dismay, Teo Garikoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Teo Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goles son Amores's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Garikoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Brion in the 32nd minute of the match. If Guaberto Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Rosario Balompié 1889's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Garikoitz came free, but Nicolas Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guaberto Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Garikoitz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Ledesma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Goles son Amores were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Garoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Urdin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nicolas Ledesma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Garikoitz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Rosario Balompié 1889's Arsenio Garoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Bakar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Ledesma having to interfere. Nicolas Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Garikoitz in the 75th minute of the match. If Teo Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Goles son Amores's Guaberto Brion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Ledesma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Balompié 1889's zone, Guaberto Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Ledesma came out of the goal and Guaberto Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosario Balompié 1889's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Teo Garikoitz scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Ledesma, making the score, 0-3. Goles son Amores's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
