Goles son Amores's Elias Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Oliveiro in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Guaberto Brion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Santos Koldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 played minutes Goles son Amores got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Lizar. Federico Gitano, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Santos Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Brion in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Goles son Amores's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Pacho came free, but Elias Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bakar having to interfere. Cecilio Oliveiros short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Elias Bakar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Cecilio Oliveiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaberto Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Santos Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Oliveiros short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Elias Bakar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Guaberto Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Koldo having to interfere. Jeronimo Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bakar having to interfere. Fernández AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
